The industry's first residential, tinted paint product to be GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified

What is GREENGUARD?

We're not just telling you that The Freshaire Choice™ Paint is good for the globe, other people are too. It's certified by the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute (GEI), a well-respected industry-independent, non-profit organization that provides verification for low-emitting products. Plus, it is the first paint to be awarded the highest level of certification for Children & Schoolssm. GEI is dedicated to increasing the quality of life by supporting programs that are designed to improve indoor air quality. So you can trust that when you use The Freshaire Choice, you're using the best paint for your home environment and the rest of the planet.

How did The Freshaire Choice get certified?

It underwent dynamic environmental chamber testing. This means it was placed in an enclosed space that provides a typical indoor environment and was left to react to its surroundings naturally. Examination proved that The Freshaire Choice meets acceptable indoor air quality guidelines and standards, which are also in line with those of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

GREENGUARD also supports that The Freshaire Choice's innovative colorant technology contains no VOCs, making it the first tinted program of its kind. Most paints claiming to have "no harmful chemicals" are not telling the whole story because the average paint colorant adds 150 grams of VOCs back into the paint once the color is mixed. But that's not the case with The Freshaire Choice.
